Care & Use

Care and use

We have created this product using select noble materials for the best quality results. We have invested our passion into every detail of the manufacturing process to make it both beautiful and functional. We wanted our swing to be low maintenance by providing all the materials with the best protection possible. If the product is treated with respect and care, it will look even better over time.

Here are some important product care instructions to ensure it always looks its best.

Leather

Leather goods made in Argentina are known as some of the best in the world. Our leather is sourced from the province of Córdoba and is of outstanding quality. The polo industry worldwide recognizes the superior standard of Argentine craftsmanship in the saddles, boots and other accessories used in this sport, where Argentine players hold pride of place.

Today, leather-covered furniture only requires regular dusting with a soft cloth.

Surface stains should be cleaned off immediately using a soft damp cloth without the addition of any chemical cleaning products.

Wood

The swings are made from the native lenga tree, a semi-hard wood similar to cherry, known for its resistance, durability and strength.

The wood is selected and conditioned to very low moisture levels before being shaped and assembled. This is a key process that stabilizes the wood from the outset.

When a finished product leaves our workshop to begin its intended life, the wood will over time adapt to surrounding humidity levels. This may cause the wood to deteriorate if it is exposed to the elements or to a humid environment, leading it to deform and change slightly in shape and dimensions.

Every detail of the manufacturing and finishing process of our products is carefully designed and crafted to take into account the natural properties of the materials we work with. However, it’s important to note that the wood and other natural materials we use have certain innate features which may cause them to change over time, so it’s important to look after them properly.

Use a clean, dry cloth to remove dust.
Do not apply oil, wax or soap, as the product has been polished and lacquered to give it a protective film.
